[edit] Modifications to Model Rules for incorporated association "WordCamp"

This document outlines modification to the standard model rules for associations for the purposes of the operation of the proposed incorporated association “WordCamp”. These modifications form part of the registered entities rules.

The modifications set forth here serve to reduce the committee size to two office-bearers, composed of a secretary and a treasurer. Any presidential and vice-presidential duties have been re-assigned to the secretary and treasurer respectively. Further to this, committee meetings are reduced to a minimum of one per 12 month period and members can self-nominate for committee positions with one member endorsing the nomination.

New applications for membership of the association will not require the nomination of the applicant by other members.
